I love use small crankbaits for trout. I caught a trout in about 10 inches of water used a Rebel craw. It was a explosion. This just as fly fishers were leaving. Well , one was teaching the other 2 😂. I'm wanting to buy a light rod just for this. I'm a bit confused about what might be the best action.

These micro-cranks have been become my #1 go to for trout. No fuss - straight tie to a 6lb braid - and i get them every time. Love the bloopers and straight to the point video. I'm a fan. I also use crankbaits for large river steelheads and salmon. Works great - especially the ability to float pass a few trout and draw the crankbait back up stream just pass them. Great technique.
